Tactile Sensor Sector Accelerates: Tastone Technology Raises Hundreds of Millions in Series B
Bot Telegraph, July 12 — Tastone Technology, an AI tactile perception specialist, has announced the completion of a Series B funding round amounting to hundreds of millions of yuan. Investors include Joyson Electronics, Taiping Innovation, Aux Group, and Pengling Co., with existing shareholders Daostechnology and Binfu Capital participating.
Founded in 2017, Tastone has built a full-stack technology system spanning “chip — sensor — algorithm model — scenario application.” The company independently developed the world’s first mixed-signal AI tactile chip. Its core product, the TS-F fingertip tactile sensor, achieves force resolution of 0.01N and can identify over 30 materials without contact.
The company disclosed that orders on hand as of the end of May had already reached four times its full-year 2025 revenue. Tastone currently holds over 80% market share in the humanoid robot tactile sensor segment, with commercial partnerships spanning more than 180 robotics industry chain clients.
Notably, Tastone is NVIDIA Isaac Sim’s first global tactile simulation partner. Its proprietary tactile simulation has been open-sourced to MuJoCo and the NVIDIA platform. The company expects its robotics business to grow to 3–4 times the size of its automotive business in 2026, contributing approximately two-thirds of total annual revenue.
