Companies Receive Over 10,000 Orders in a Single Month; Robot Production and Sales Set for Explosive Growth
According to data released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, from January to May this year, the revenue of enterprises above designated size in China’s robot industry has exceeded 90 billion yuan, achieving a year-on-year growth of 26.9%. Looking back over the past five years, the industry’s average annual growth rate has consistently remained above 20%, demonstrating a strong development momentum.
Recently, several robot companies have shown active market performance. One company just launched a new generation of humanoid robot products at the end of last month and has already accumulated over 10,000 orders in less than a month. The head of another company revealed that the frameless motors they produce are core components driving the joints of humanoid robots. In the first half of this year alone, the company’s pending delivery orders have exceeded 1 million units, a significant increase of more than nine times compared to the same period last year.
Industry analysis institution Xiangcai Securities pointed out that multiple favorable factors have recently converged, which is expected to continuously catalyze the humanoid robot sector. These include the approval of Unitree Robotics’ IPO registration, UBTECH’s release of a super-bionic humanoid robot that exceeded expectations, and the steady progress in the mass production of Tesla’s Optimus humanoid robot overseas.
Looking ahead, as the data flywheel effect drives rapid advancements in robot “big and small brain” technologies, the humanoid robot field is expected to enter a virtuous cycle. At that time, its production capacity, unit production costs, and end-market demand will be synergistically optimized, potentially igniting the production and sales volume of the humanoid robot market in China and even globally. The performance of related OEMs and upstream core component suppliers is also expected to see rapid improvement.
At the industrial chain level, relevant listed companies have already made substantial progress. For example, Zhenyu Technology has achieved a major breakthrough in its robot business. Its linear actuator modules and reverse planetary roller screws have directly connected with major overseas customers and have passed verification by leading humanoid robot clients both domestically and internationally, achieving small-batch delivery of some products. Another company, Shougang Co., Ltd., has globally launched the ultra-high magnetic induction oriented soft magnetic material 20RSW175, specifically designed for humanoid robots.
