Swancor New Materials Launches Qi Yuan, a Transformable Robot That Shifts from Humanoid to Machine Dog, with Multiple Versions Planned

During the 2026 ChinaJoy exhibition, Swancor New Materials launched two robot products under its Qiyuan series for the consumer market, namely the Qiyuan Q1 and Qiyuan T1. Among them, the Qiyuan Q1 Explorer Edition made its debut at this exhibition, attracting significant attention on-site.

According to on-site staff, the Qiyuan Q1 is primarily positioned as a companion robot, capable of freely switching between a humanoid form and a “mechanical dog” form. In the mechanical dog configuration, the robot can tow a person sitting on a skateboard and navigate complex terrains such as stairs and slopes, with a maximum movement speed of up to 3 meters per second.

In terms of form parameters, the Qiyuan Q1 stands 0.88 meters tall and features 22 degrees of freedom in its joints. Its main application scenarios focus on child care and elderly companionship, and consumers can also customize its exterior shell according to personal preferences.

The Qiyuan T1 from the same series emphasizes intelligent photography and interactive functions. The robot can use its own body to capture personalized photos and can link with action cameras, supporting various professional modes such as follow-shot, orbiting, and Hitchcock-style camera movements.

Additionally, the Qiyuan T1 integrates practical functions such as a home assistant, life reminders, scheduled alerts, and encyclopedia Q&A. It also supports “autonomous person-finding” immersive video calls, aiming to provide users with a more convenient smart living experience.
