Chengdu Humanoid Robot Innovation Center Unveils World’s First Fully Autonomous, Long-Horizon Robot Task Execution System for Complex Language Commands
Bot Telegraph, August 18th – The Chengdu Humanoid Robot Innovation Center has unveiled the world’s first fully autonomous, ultra-long-horizon robot task execution system capable of handling complex language instruction sets. This system addresses the challenge of robots being unable to make autonomous decisions and plans in unfamiliar environments, enabling them to move beyond pre-set laboratory demonstrations and be applied in complex, real-world scenarios. The related technology has been granted invention patents. The system integrates technologies such as world models and VLA into a unified framework. In a demonstration video, the “Gongga No. 1” humanoid robot received a single complex instruction and autonomously and stably completed three sub-tasks in sequence throughout the entire process. The entire operation was conducted without remote control or staged setups, showcasing the robot’s fully autonomous operational capabilities. “Gongga No. 1” is an ultra-lightweight humanoid robot developed by the Chengdu Humanoid Robot Innovation Center, serving as the execution platform for this system.
