208 Robots Debut at WAIC, Showcasing Both Skills and Practical Work
Bot Telegraph, July 21st – The atmosphere at the Embodied Intelligence exhibition area of the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) has been completely transformed. Robots are no longer confined to static displays or dance performances along preset trajectories; they are now genuinely “working.” Over 208 terminal models and more than 300 real machines are spread across various booths, handling practical tasks such as production line operations, navigation, inquiry services, and welcoming guests. The number of participating embodied intelligence companies has also surged from over 80 last year to more than 200 this year.
