Lingiao Intelligence Completes Hundreds of Millions of Yuan in Series A Funding, Led by Shanghai Electric

Bot Telegraph, July 22 – Lingqiao Intelligence recently announced the completion of an A-round financing worth hundreds of millions of yuan. This round was led by Shanghai Electric Holding Group Co., Ltd., with follow-up investments from institutions such as the Shanghai Embodied Intelligence Industry Fund. The funds will primarily be used for research and development, product iteration, and market expansion.

Founded in 2024, Lingqiao Intelligence focuses on the research and development of general-purpose intelligent multi-finger dexterous hands, dedicated to creating robot end-effectors with high degrees of freedom and strong manipulation capabilities. The core team comes from the Robotics Institute of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, possessing deep technical expertise in areas such as robot tactile perception and dexterous manipulation.

Lingqiao Intelligence’s core product is the multi-finger dexterous hand, which features high-precision tactile perception and the ability to manipulate complex objects. This product can be widely applied in scenarios such as industrial manufacturing, logistics sorting, and home services, serving as a key component for humanoid robots to achieve fine manipulation.

Shanghai Electric stated that Lingqiao Intelligence’s technical strength and productization capabilities in the field of dexterous hands are at a leading domestic level, highly synergistic with Shanghai Electric’s industrial layout in intelligent manufacturing. This investment will help Lingqiao Intelligence accelerate product iteration and commercial deployment, promoting the rapid development of China’s embodied intelligence industry.

The founder of Lingqiao Intelligence stated that this round of financing will primarily be used in three areas: first, increasing R&D investment to enhance the tactile perception accuracy and operational flexibility of the dexterous hand; second, advancing product iteration to launch a series of products tailored for different application scenarios; and third, expanding the market by strengthening cooperation with robot OEMs to promote the application of dexterous hands in more scenarios.
