Haier and Oak Deer Robotics Launch Fully Automated AI Cooking Robot, Codenamed “CR3”
On the afternoon of July 29, Haier Smart Home and Xianglu Robotics officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement and jointly launched the world’s first fully autonomous AI cooking robot for home use—the CR3. This move marks Haier’s official entry into the household cooking robot market. As a key component of Haier’s home robot matrix, the CR3 deeply integrates Xianglu Robotics’ core technologies in precise heat control, full-chain cooking data modeling, and a vast library of standardized recipes. The product enables fully automated intelligent cooking from start to finish with a single button press, requiring no human intervention—a result of one year of joint development by both parties. The CR3 is not just a standalone cooking device but is also deeply integrated into Haier’s smart home ecosystem. It breaks down the spatial boundaries between the living room and kitchen, aiming to create a new future smart home scenario with an integrated living, dining, and kitchen space. This launch is a significant step for Haier in advancing its home robot strategy. In March this year, Haier unveiled three categories of robots—household chores, cleaning, and companionship—during AWE. The introduction of the cooking robot in collaboration with Xianglu Robotics further completes its robot product matrix, signaling Haier’s acceleration toward realizing the vision of “unmanned household chores” at home.
