JD.com’s First RoboBase Project Launches in Huangpu, Guangzhou

Robot Telegraph July 11 – The Guangdong provincial government and JD Group signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement. JD’s first RoboBase project also broke ground the same day in Huangpu, Guangzhou. The RoboBase project is a full life-cycle industrial infrastructure for robots created by JD Property, leveraging the business ecosystem of JD Group. Aiming for the integration of “R&D – manufacturing – application – service”, it builds a complete ecological closed-loop for robots and is dedicated to becoming a service platform for the intelligent robot industry. The RoboBase project that commenced construction is located in the core area of Guangzhou Huangpu Science City. It is the first physical benchmark implemented under this strategic cooperation and also JD’s core strategic layout in the advanced manufacturing and robotics sector.
