XinYan Group Unveils Babu, Its First Proactive AI Companion Robot for Homes, at WAIC

Bot Telegraph, July 19 — At the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC), held in Shanghai from July 17 to 20, Xinyan Group unveiled its first proactive home AI companion robot, Babu, to the public for the first time. One of the highlights of this companion robot is its ability to determine whether and how to engage with users by fusing multi-sensor data to perceive the user’s voice, movements, and distance, combined with memory from continuous interactions.
