US Imposes Import Restrictions on Advanced Robots, China’s Foreign Ministry Responds

The U.S. Federal Communications Commission recently announced restrictions on the import of advanced robots, covering areas including the humanoid robot sector where China holds a dominant position. In response, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning clarified China’s stance at a regular press conference on the 29th.

Mao Ning pointed out that China has always firmly opposed the U.S. practice of overstretching the concept of national security to restrict Chinese enterprises under the guise of safeguarding national security.
